Day 2: The Best Laid Plans...
My mom, sister and I were supposed to go for dinner and to see the musical, Rock of Ages tonight. A sort of comedy of errors led to my sister, her husband, and my husband going instead. I stayed home with the kid. One day, I will look back on this and laugh, I'm sure. Don't cry for me. I opened a bottle of sparkling wine from Chateau des Charmes and had some yummy Thai take out food. This is a picture of my wine bottle and my husband's program from the musical.
Day 1: Happy New Year!!
My husband is a New Year's baby. We went to to one of the fanciest restaurants in town to celebrate his birthday. It was a Saturday night, but so quiet. I guess everyone was hungover from last night. He turned 39 today. Can't wait for next year...any excuse for a big celebration!
